EVERYBODY by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins. A postmodern morality play staged in a cathedral of redwoods on the edge of the Saint Mary's College campus. The arc of the production was timed to the descent of the sun; the show began in sunlight and ended in darkness, as "Everybody" entered the grave, accompanied by "Love." A celebration of life, a ritual of grief, and and a renewal of community after the shutdown of campus during the COVID-19 pandemic.
